Dubai World Cup 2012: The winning horses

Fred Texas ridden by Adrie de Vries and trained Ronald Martino wins the Kahayla Classic. Fred Texas is owned by Shaikh Joaan Bin Hamad Bin Khalifa Al Thani. Seraphin de Paon and Timadit Al Mels came second and third respectively

Daddy Long Legs ridden by Colm O'Donoghue, trained by Aiden O’Brien wins the UAE Derby. Yang Tse Kiang and Wrote came second and third respectively.

The Dubai Gold Cup has been declared null and void after Godolphin hope Fox Hunt, ridden by Silvestre De Sousa and trained Mahmoud Al Zarooni, broke down on the centre of the track. The mishap happened as the 13-horse field went past the 300m mark in the 3,200m contest which is being run for the first time on the Dubai World Cup card.

African Story ridden by Frankie Dettori, trained by Saeed Bin Suroor and owned by Godolphin wins the Godolphin Mile. Viscount Nelson and Red Jazz came second and third respectively.

Cirrus Des Aigles ridden by Olivier Peslier and trained by Corrine Barande Barbe wins the Dubai Sheema Classic. St Nicholas Abbey and Jakkalberry came second and third respectively.

Monterosso ridden by Mickael Barzalona, trained by Mahmoud Al Zarooni and owned by Godolphin wins the 2012 Dubai World Cup. Fellow Godolphin horse Capponi and Planteur came second and third respectively.

 Krypton Factor ridden by Keiren Fallon and trained by Fawzi Abdulla Naas wins the Dubai Golden Shaheen. Rocket Man and Lucky Nine came second and third respectively.

Ortensia ridden by Craig Williams wins the Al Quoz Sprint. Sole Power and Joy And Fun came second and third respectively.

Cityscape ridden by James Doyle wins the Dubai Duty Free. Mutahadee and City Style came second and third respectively.
